New Firmware Version 2.13 + New DMX Modes 

Volux has introduced a major firmware update for Flaris Blade, which implements key functional improvements based on extensive field testing and user feedback to meet professional demands and provide an optimal operating experience. 

Fixture firmware Version 2.13 adds independent Shutter/Strobe control between outer RGBW color segments and center cold white segments. While fixture continuity and profile consistency remain a key part of our product philosophy, this update requires an inevitable change to the DMX channel index and personality modes. 

Version 2.13 implements the addition of a 14-channel mode and replacement of the 89-channel mode with a new 90-channel mode. 13-channel and 64-channel modes remain unchanged as of this firmware version. This update also includes key functional feature updates, including Pixel Invert control. 

All customers are encouraged to update to v2.13 as soon as possible. Please contact Volux Support for update instructions.

Important Notes:

  • Pre-programmed shows using 89ch mode should remain on lower versions. Functionality cannot be guaranteed with v2.13 cannot be guaranteed. 
  • Downgrading from v2.13 cannot be guaranteed. 
  • Flaris Blade models produced prior to Jan 2026 require a USB-to-DMX updater tool to update. Please contact Volux Support for more information.
